Danann! My mother was born and raised in Atlanta so besides living there for 14 years, I have been there to visit many many times. Great city. I miss it sometimes and my family and friends who live there. |

On my way back from Florida we drove through Atlanta. I have never seen such a HUGE city! It looked so cool at night. We didn't have time to stop though. Instead Noellle, who was driving got pulled over! haha! She didn't get a ticket though so that was nice. Those are my memories of my time in Atlanta. |

O'siyo Danann, Wow! I just checked out your wedding site and it is SPLENDID! I just love your ring, and I, being a huge animal lover, say KUDOS to you for including your 'baby' when picking out the flowers That is just so kewl and so sweet..The cake looks fantastic and the strawberries/dressed up are just so festive! I wish you all the happiness and much laughter and many smiles! Oh yeah, this post was about Atlanta so, *laughing*..I flew into Atlanta's airport a few times and was taken aback at its size..Yikes! I travel to Georgia mostly to spend time in Savannah and on Tybee Island..just love the Island!~ Georgia is just so beautiful and parts of it really takes you 'back in time'... ~~Sty-U |

Like I said, I have been to Atlanta many times throughout my life because my mother was born and raised there and we buried many relatives there. Then I decided to live there for 14 years. It is a great city but just got too big for me. Much to do there though. I love the Fox theatre. Been there many times! Got to where I hated that 285 expressway though........ugh! Beautiful city though. I have not been back there in 5 years! hard to believe now. I love Savannah and been to Jekyl Island. Loved that! Had a great time there! |

The next time y'all are in Atlanta you're going to have to let me know, and I'll fix you a plate of grits and fatback. freekenny, I work at the Arlanta Airport. It is a bit big, isn't it. I'm in a building on the east side of the airport, between the runways, so I get the wonderful opportunity to smell burned kerosene everyday. |

Don't really have much to say about Atlanta. I've never been there. My cousin and his family used to live in Stone Mountain, though. Does that count for anything ? |

Stone Mountain is the site of Atlanta's yearly Highland Games, usually around the first weekend in October. |
