I have a bunch of favorites. I usually watch tv more than movies, even though I work at a movie theater, haha.
Law and Order SVU (I've seen every episode that has come out so far) Copper (Gotta love 1860's Irish New York) Car Warriors (Amazing what some people can do to a car in less than 48 hours) Gearz (I've learned all kinds of things to do to my car from this show) Monster Jam (I've always loved monster trucks) Prison Break (Just awesome in general) Rome (Great show with great actors) Game of Thrones (Everybody already knows this is a great tv show, haha) North and South (Anything with Patrick Swayze and the Civil War is good) Foyle's War (Great WWII detective drama) Luther (Awesome British modern day detective show) Ultimate Force (No holds barred tv show about the SAS)
I'm sure there are some others that I can't think of right now as well! |

Hello everyone, I am writing a book right now and there are a group of Scottish Gaelic speaking people the characters run into. I was wondering if anyone out there could help me translate these lines into Scottish Gaelic?
"What is your business here foreigner?"
"We are but simple travelers seeking shelter. We are on official business from our king and will be gone by the morning. Will you allow us to stay in your great city?"
"We have no quarrel with you travelers. As long as you behave yourselves you will be allowed to stay in our city."
"Thank you very much."
"Open the gates."
That is all I need right now! Thank you very much for any help! |

I am reading a book, and I was wondering how you pronounce this Irish girl's name? "Mallaidh" It is difficult to read without knowing how to pronounce it! Haha. |

Hey everybody, I was just wondering if there is any festivals or games near where I live in Knoxville Tennessee? I might be doing it wrong, but I can't find any on the internet. I would really like to go to one! |

Haha, yeah they have atleast two that I know of! They're both owned by Blue Moon Theaters and Parkway Drive-in is in Maryville and Midtown Drive-in is in Harriman. I like them both a lot! It's a great deal for two and sometimes three movies for only $7! The concessions are like half of what they would be at a normal movie theater too! They only bad things are that it can get really really hot and sometimes it's hard to stay up until the end. Because the last movie usually ends at like 2 A.M. And for me there is still like a thirty to forty-five minute drive home. Haha. But all in all I really like the drive-in's! |

I saw Brave tonight at the drive-in and I thought it was a really good movie! I liked the story a lot and I loved the music! In my opinion it's one of the best kid's movies Disney has made in a long time. I miss all of the good, old kids movies! Like Mulan and The Lion King and Hercules and Anastasia. I am definitely going to buy Brave to go along with those! Haha. |

I live in the US, Tennessee specifically, and I am decended from both Scots and Irishmen. They came to the US four generations back, but I still feel loyalty to all three! Haha. So I know how you feel, or felt rather. It is definitely difficult! |

So I was just wondering what kind of pets everyone has?
I have a Dachshund, Pretzel, and a miniature Dachshund, Littles, (both girls), a Pomeranian, Joey, (male), and one who is a mix of pretty much everything but mostly hound, Hampton, (male). We used to also have a Gecko, Frogs, Guinea Pigs, Gerbils, Fish, a Turtle, and Hermit Crabs. But you know what happens with age.
So I was just curious what kinds of pets everyone else has, if any? |

My personal favorites are Black Hawk Down (One of the best war movies I have ever seen), of course Braveheart, The Robin Hood with Kevin Costner and Morgan Freeman is sooo much better than the Russel Crowe one (I loved Gladiator though and I know the two Robin Hoods are about different points in the legend), Tombstone is definitely the best Western I have ever seen, Micheal Collins is slow but great, Kung Fu Hustle and Shaolin Soccer are awesome foreign movies, as well as 9th Company (Russian movie that reminds me of Full Metal Jacket a little bit) and Arn the Knight Templar (Swedish movie), Spirited Away and My Neighbor Totoro are two of the best animated films I've ever seen, all of the Resident Evil movies and the Transporter movies are superb, and last and certainly not least, the only movie that makes me break down and cry every time I watch it, The Passion of The Christ. |

I haven't heard of any of the Classical Crossover people, but I'll definitely have to check them out! I'll also have to check out Gaelic Storm and Runrig! I have 3 of Celtic Thunder's cd's, but I only have Americana by Charlie Zahm. Haha. |

I love Celtic music! I have all the cd's of the High Kings, Celtic Woman, Celtic Thunder, Enya, and the Wolfe Tones now. But I also really love Country music, particularly George Jones, Conway Twitty, Alan Jackson, and Brad Paisley. I also love pretty much all the Classical music as well as Big Band music. And I love Hill Song and Casting Crowns. The only rap/hip hop I listen to is Christian: Lecrae, Trip Lee, Tedashii, FLAME, PRo, Andy Mineo, KB, etc. I guess what I'm trying to say is I love Celtic music so much, but I also love many other kinds of music. |

Hello from Tennessee! I'm Scots/Irish as well. I just got back from a trip to Ireland and Scotland a few days ago. I got to try Scotch, Jameson, and Jack Daniels all one after another and compare the tastes at the Jameson Distillery in Dublin! |
