Dreaming Owl was a founding member of Circle of the Lost Map, and TUUC (Tampa Unitarian Universalist Coven), currently known as Circles in the Woods CUUPS (Coven of Unitarian Universalist Pagans). Dreaming Owl reigned as the High Priestess of TUUC and Roots and Wings Coven from 1994 to 1998 and remained active in the Wiccan and Pagan community as a loved and honored elder, and was also a dedicated Unitarian Universalist and active in many activities including the church choir. To many of us she was a beloved coven sister, friend, teacher, and more. Fare thee well Dreaming Owl; thank you for your gifts of friendship, offered so freely in perfect love and perfect trust. May the White Lady take you in the shelter of Her wings and speed you to the Isles of the West, where you may rest, heal, and grow young again in joyous reunion with all of those who have gone before. I look forward to seeing your smiling eyes welcome me when it's my time to awake on that bright shining shore.

May her passage be peaceful and your community's loss taken in stride.

One can not profess to be of "GOD" and show intolerence and prejudice towards the beliefs of others.

Her UU Church and CUUPS coven held a lovely memorial service for her Friday, the altar set with many of her own ritual tools and decorated with her artwork, pottery, baskets, and a self-portrait. I piped everyone in to "Cha Till Mac Crumain", and opened the Circle with "Westering Home", a celebratory air of being homeward bound after a long voyage, looking forward to being welcomed back into the arms of kith and kin. I think she would've liked that.
