Why are there Scotish and Irish Forums, but nothing for the Welsh, I know we betrayed our Celtic traditions back in the 19th century, but I think we made up for it with Carys Mathews!! Don't you?

(By the way this is my first post, I'm here because the music is just so great)

Thanks (d)

Hi Welsh Guy!

As the webmaster of CelticRadio, I can attest that we are not excluding the Welsh by devise. We just don't have a whole lot of content to provide in that type of forum.

Now, if we had someone of Welsh background with some knowledge on all things Welsh, we could make that person a moderator and create a Welsh forum.

If you know of anyone interested, please let us know!  ::pumkin

you're perfectly right about that fairplay...
I'd like to see wales one day, they say that they are speaking p-gaelic, the same type as in Britanny, while scotland and Ireland are speaking o-gaelic...
I plan to find out something more

I don't know about P & O (I thought it was a shipping company  :D ) But you're right about the Scotish/Irish connection and the Welsh/Cornish/Breton/Portugese (and some say Basque) Connection.

I live in France and can comunicate reasonably well with Breton speakers, through a mixture of Welsh and French.

What I find fascinating is an apparent link between Welsh/Breton musical tradition and the music of the Kabyle region of Algeria.

That's true, I also recognized that. Where in France do you live? I have friends in Britanny, the Camargue and in Paris. Did you already live in France when Manau came out?
I have both cd's and I like them (I'm usually more a french rap fan then american and stuff).
My friends in Britanny live near to Douarnenez, 1 in St. Anne-la-palud, 1 in Douarnenez itself and one in Locronan (one of the most beautiful towns I've ever seen, I think)

Locronan (these are taken from Internet, but the picture with the horse, I have the very same horse on a picture, too!;)

(I almost have the same memories and the same photos, funny coincidence)
