Fergus Canada Games 2007

hey Keltic and all. I know this is a wee bit early to be posting this, but I am wanting to attend the Fergus games in Canada in 2007. I have no clue where I should fly into from AZ or where I should stay. Any recommendations? Should I stay in Guelph or Fergus and where in Fergus?

I also want to see if we can get the Wicked Tinkers band there. Anybody I should write to in particular? Many thanks for your help.

The closest major airport would be in Toronto which is just about 1 hour to Fergus. There aren't any major hotels in Fergus but a lot of people swear up and down about the Bed and Breakfasts in the area. Most people stay in either Guelph (about 15 miles away), Kitchener-Waterloo (about 23 miles away) or Cambridge (about 30 miles away). They also have camping on site and have great facilities.

As for who to contact concerning the Wicked Tinkers, you should just contact their general number to find out. I've only dealt with those involved with the vendors so I have no idea who you would talk to concerning entertainment.
