I have seen Celtic Thunder on PBS and have their latest CD. My family is hog ho over this band. I do love some songs on the CD, but I have to admit that I love Celtic Woman so much more.

Come on everyone; they are totally awesome, especially to us women; don't knock them till you see them, they're adorable.
And what's with the dude that posted the way some women were looking at them, that person must have some deep-seeded issues thyself!
They are good and they will go a long way!
after all, two of the songs made top-ten on our very own celtic radio!

I agree I really like Celtic Thunder. I am just finding out about them now. They have some excellent voices. I do like them. I like Celtic Woman too but the men are a little easier for my eyes should I say 'hee hee- Think these guys will be around for a long time.

I have to say they really inspired me; I have found so much outstanding Irish/Scotish music and people since I saw them in Los Angeles. I truly wish I would have been exposed to the culture and lot sooner in my life, but I have the rest of my life to totally submerse myself in a whole lotta Irish and Scotish musci, people, just everything.
Yes. the are very easy on the eyes!

Hooray!!!

The Celtic Thunder guys will be back in American in a few days!!!

For those of you who may not know; Celtic Thunder will be singing the National Anthem at the Boston Celtics game on March 13 and will be opening the St. Patrick's Day parade in New York City again this year.

I've been online to see what else they are up to, they certainly have a busy schedule, only had the time to pull one site up at that time and it was another town in Boston where they will appear at the town function. anyway, I wish them well and I still suggest that the people with the negative posts, or who haven't seen them, reconsider or at least go see them or hear them before they say anything negative.

I saw them on PBS. I think they have great potential, and I like them WAY more than Celtic Woman(puke.gif) but I wish they would get away from the Pop Music and do more traditional stuff.

Sorry Darlene, I have watched their PBS special and I'll stick with my initial assessment of them. Just not my cup o' tea.

I have been smitten with Celtic Thunder since I first came across them on PBS. I just happened to be flipping through the channels October 2008 and stumbled across them. Much to my surprise, they were coming around to Pittsburgh and Baltimore soon there after and I just HAD to go to their concert. Let me tell you ~ SO GREAT on TV and EVEN BETTER in Person!!!!
I am so excited to see that they are back in the states in March. I just bought my tickets for Washington DC. I can't wait to hear more from them in the future! biggrin.gif

That's OK j Padraig moore; everyone has their own opinion, that's cool!
When I saw ur picture I thought of the movie braveheart for some reason, must be those Irish Roots of yours; did you ever get to Ireland, if so, did you go with a tour or independently. I plan on going next year so trying to get some good advise!
