- People that "could care less". Hey, if you could care less, that means you do care on some level...which is not what you are going for. "I couldn't care less" is what you are looking for here.

- People passing you when you are in the middle lane in the RIGHT lane on the highway.

- When a cashier opens a new register in a store I always give the next person in line the courtesy and option to go to it, yet there is someone in the way back of the line that rushes in to get there first.

People who park in the left lane of a three lane highway and go 68mph and flip you off when you pass on the right because it's the only way to pass them.

People who get on the expressway at 40mph and then take a mile to get to at least 65 and everyone is screaming past so you can't pass them.

It's NUCLEAR!! Not nucular! I really hate that. There is no nucular.

And...it's EScape! Not EXscape.

*sigh*

How long of a list do you want? Because I have dozens! tongue.gif

People who type with an accent!
Folks that think their poop don't stink!
I could go on and on.....

People who don't use their signal when changing lanes or turning. One of my biggest pet peeves.

People who throw their cigarette butts out the window

people who forget where the gas pedal is

People who don't know how to use a roundabout/traffic circle.

Totally agree with you WallaceGal on the people getting on the highway. The ramps are designed (most of them) to get up to speed. Same with exiting.

People who dont use turn signals. 2. People who talk durning a movie!!!!!! SHUT UP AND WATCH THE MOVIE!!!!!

Posted by: WallaceGal 24-May-2014, 07:06 PM
Oh, not just the talking during the movie, the TEXTING! Turn the bloody phone off for cripe's sake! I don't want to see the glare from your screen and why would you pay (in our area) $12 per ticket to not pay attention to what you paid for??

People who cut lines. If I've been standing there for 20 minutes waiting to check out/buy the ticket/get my ice cream/what have you, you better believe I'm going to tell you exactly where you can go if you think you're going to walk up in front of me and say, Do you mind?

People who smoke right in front of the door I have to walk in. I used to smoke. For ten years. But I didn't smoke in a restaurant and I didn't stand in front of the entrance door blowing smoke on anyone. You're supposed to be 35 feet from the door in my state.

Bicycle riders who ride two abreast right down the middle of my lane. The law says you ride as close to the white line as possible, SINGLE file. And then they hold their hand in front of me for me to stop while they get in the left turn lane? Um...NO! Not in the law either!

People who jaywalk and think they have the right of way.

People who wait until I get to the side street they're pulling out of, not a soul behind me, and they pull out ten feet from me only to turn again in 20.

I have lots more...

People who keep talking on their cell phone all through the transaction or don't say a word to you then call you rude.

I was ringing up this mom who kept talking on her cell phone through the whole transaction and her daughter was trying to tell her it was rude. When the mom hung up she told the girl it was rude to interrupt and not to do it again. The daughter must have been 10.

People who put stuff anywhere when they don't want when the cashier is right there.

People who smoke inside the building and when you are ringing them up. I'm a non-smoker.

People who act like they know everything or that you should know everything.

People who cut you off.

People who don't signal then pull right in front and turn their blinker on.

In honor of Black Friday. I would have to say people who fight over a dvd. That is what happened last year.

Also people who are so anxious to shop on Black Friday just to return it the items the next day. It happens every year. 90% percent off the items they bought on Black Friday get returned on Saturday.

Why buy the item if you're going to return it the next day? Doesn't make sense to me.

FYI Togo: I am a cashier and have seen a lot of things.

I had this customer who was buying stretch leggings. She asked me if I thought they would fit. She then tried them over her clothes at the register. And said she would buy them. Of course there were people behind her.

People who use freekin cell phones or text while driving. It's bad enough to be around them driving in the pickup truck, but on the bike, these people will kill you and never even know about it. I cant tell how many time those kinds of people have given me a sphincter pucker while out on the bike. Makes a person want to do bad things to them!

Needy people. Not the ones who are unable to do something for themselves but the ones who could and still want you to do it for them. Sometimes go by the alias of "my children."

It sounds like someone is going to have a White Christmas. I hope you have a good one also hope the snow calms down for you.

Looks like almost everybody is peeved by traffic, and I can agree with that - although we can't do anything about it. My pet peeve has more to do with my Highlander Radio addiction than anything else. I am a professional photographer (yes, I know we are being replaced with cell phones, these days), and I use a Macintosh computer to process my image files. Currently, my Mac is so old that my operating system will not allow me to use a newer version browser, so therefore I cannot listen to my favorite music and my favorite radio station Highlander Radio.

Fortunately, my pet peeve has a solution, I just need to get an updated computer. Then my work will be easier and my days will be happier.

If you have a smartphone, you can listen on that... smile.gif

With re-guard to playing the music.. pickup a cheap notepad from Wal-Mart for about $99. It will do the jib if you don't want to up grade your Mac just right now...

Rude, ignorant, cheeky people with no manners. If they only know how they reflect on how their parents raised them they might reconsider their actions, but then again, their philistine behavior would certainly bely that. It's the easiest thing in the world to be kind and considerate...

People going 15mph under the speed limit and when you go to pass them, they speed up to the bumper of the guy in front of them so you can't get back in line. WTH?

People who wait on a side street when you're driving on a 50mph road, for you to get 40 feet from them and then they pop out in front of you and go 20mph!

People who can't understand when you tell them they're at the wrong door of your business and have to go to another but instead, wave their company badge at you and think it gives them carte blanche to just walk through the 'eyes only' section to get to the one they need instead of walking around.

*headdesk morning*

Over seas customer service!!!!

Posted by: togo 04-Nov-2015, 03:08 PM
Customer service in general. Call, get the automated message, hit a number that sends you to more automated messages to hit another number where you finally have to put in your phone number, then your address, then your birthdate, to more automated messages to FINALLY, 10 minutes later, when you get a real person......then they ask you for all that information AGAIN! What was the purpose of doing it the 1st time .....and ..... wallbash.gif
