This year we are going to Oregon. Never been there, but my hubby's brother and his family live there and have for years wanted us to come visit. I keep hearing just how beautiful Oregon is and how I will probably not want to come home.

I had so much wanted to go to Scotland this year, but guess that will have to wait till next year........I hope.

What are you doing?

I hope to take a long weekend trip up to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin this summer. Not over a holiday though.

Rindy! When is the Colorado Renaissance Festival? While you are there, you should talk to the organizers about having CAD!

I fly to Ireland in a couple weeks. Haven't made any plans for after I get back on the 10th, but I'm thinking about OVFF and a certain festival in VA that WizardofOwls told me about. Those are on opposite ends of the month of October so shouldn't interfere with each other too badly. Biggest wildcard is if I have enough PTO time from work. Think I will have.

Sheesh!
Who has the time and money for a vacation? censored.gif

Not I!

I'll just work all summer, then continue working into fall and winter.

We are taking the kids to Universal Studios this Summer in Florida. They will spend a week at Camp first, they love that!

We'd like to go to Bush Gardens too. That should be fun.

My hubby wants to go up to New York State for a couple days and visit his 3 older kids (previous marriage). 2 of them are grown and busy with their own lives, so he figures it would be easier if we went up to them for visiting. After that, we may detour over to Niagra Falls for a day. smile.gif

I went to Niagra Falls (Canadian side) a long time ago. It really is something to see. TV doesn't do it justice smile.gif .

Wow! You did Rindy?! That is exciting! I know that CAD can't make it this year, but hopefully next..............I would love to be there for that one! We're planning to go to the Renaissance fair this weekend and I will try to contact our organizers there too about CAD coming in the future. I couldn't find the organizers on line for some reason! sad.gif

Jpmoore! You poor fella. Sounds like you work hard. I know about money too. I had so wanted to go to Scotland this year, but just didn't work out financially for us. I hope you and your family can at least take a long weekend for health and peace of mind.

Aaediwen! Yippee! Ireland is coming up for you! I bet you are sooooooo excited! I am anxious to hear all about it and see pics too!

Irishbecca, have a great time in Florida!
