| Monday morning after a long weekend and you nod-off at your desk. Along comes the boss and catches you napping. Here are the BEST things to say: 10. "They told me at the blood bank this might happen." 9. "Whew! Guess I left the top off the liquid paper" 8. "This is one of the seven habits of highly effective people!" 7. "I was testing the keyboard for drool resistance" 6. "I was doing a highly specific exercise to relieve work-related stress. Are you discriminatory towards people who exercise?" 5. "Rats! Why did you interrupt me? I had almost figured out a solution to our biggest problem." 4. "Boy, that cold medicine I took last night just won't wear off!" 3. "Ah, the unique and unpredictable circadian rhythms of the workaholic!" 2. "I wasn't sleeping..... I was trying to pick up my contact lens without using my hands." And the #1 best thing to say if you get caught sleeping at your desk: 1. "Amen" Feel free to add some more! I'm sure there are more good ones! |

Well I was reaching for something under my desk and I was SO comfy that I couldn't move! It was all the desks fault!  |

| Isn't imitation the sincerest form of flattery? I was just imitating you. (My last boss took a 20 minute nap everyday at lunchtime.) I was just trying to think of which project, of the 500 I have, to tackle next.  |
