I have been a lover of Celtic music for years, and am very happy to have found this site. All I play in my office at work is Celtic music, and everyone likes it ... until the bagpipes play. I keep telling them it is an acquired taste, so love it or leave.

Hey there, GeckosRule, from the Navajo Nation in Northern Arizona! Spent many years in Texas seeing as how the wife and all the kids are from there. Always enjoyed Houston when we got to go there. This is the place for great Celtic music on the web and we are glad you have discovered us. And hey, I'm with you on the Pipes! Gotta have 'em. I had a friend ask once how you can tell the difference between someone playing the pipes and someone just practicing! Man, we need to educate the ignorant! biggrin.gif

Welcome aboard and have a great day!

Hi GeckosRule!

I love love love bagpipes and love Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings when I hear Rebecca (the CR announcer) say, "And now, the bagpipes..." because I know there will be some good skirl coming biggrin.gif

Hi, GeckosRule! I understand your plight with those not musically-inclined to the bagpipe. My family and my rommates are still being coaxed over form the dark side. Until then, we shall let them play! smile.gif
