This is a great fairy tale and folklore site -- This links to a part of it that has some Canadian aboriginal tales I thought might be of interest to some of our folks in the Pacific Northwest. They were collected and written down by a Canadian soldier of Scottish descent who served in World War I. Certain people who have been reading good stories to their dogs lately might like them. smile.gif

I'm blushing. Here this has been posted for what, 10 days and I'm only now getting around to noticing it?

Thanks for sharing the link. I really enjoy it.

Interesting link. My families summer home is located in Spencers Island Nova Scotia. The Island that the village is named for is also known as Glooscaps kettle. Also in the beaver legend, the stones that fell and became Islands are known as Five Island today. There is a statue of Glooscap in Parrsboro Nova Scotia.
