I am so sorry as well. Letting go is so hard, especially when it comes too soon. Prayers for your aunt and all of those who love her.

Compassion is the sometimes fatal capacity for feeling what it is like inside somebody else's skin. It is the knowledge that there can never really be any peace and joy for me until there is peace and joy finally for you too. - Frederick Buechner

Oh Susanna! I am so very sorry to hear about your aunt and her family and your family and all. It is so hard to lose a loved one, but when cancer strikes........I think it is even more difficult for we see that loved one have to suffer.
Your aunt will more than anything be kept in my prayers. What is her name, may I ask? Please keep us all posted on her condition. I feel so very badly for her son having to lose his mother at such a young age......Bless him!
Thanks so much, guys for all of your encouragement and prayer and sympathy! My aunt's name is Debbie, Celtic Rose. Thank you all very much, and I will keep you updated as I find out what happens.

I will be praying for your Aunt, her immediate family and for you and your whole extended family ---I pray that the Lord will give everyone strength, courage and peace.

Letting go is one of the hardest things on earth and accompanying till the very last breathe also...I stand in awe to everyone who is willing to do so. Susie, your Aunt Debbie and all who care for her and love her are in my prayers.

Thanks so much guys for the prayers. My aunt is hemorraghing (or was yesterday). They sent her home from the hospital saying there was nothing they could do, but she lost a pint of blood and they think it was from one of her arteries. It won't be long now. I don't have any updates since last night, but I will keep you posted. God is present, even in this, and in control! What a comfort.
Susie, what a sad time for you and your entire family. I will keep your Aunt Debbie, yourself and all who love her in my prayers. May our Lord comfort you and keep you all in His loving arms. Jan
Angel, my dear friend! My heart not only ached for you, but I literally sobbed when I read your post! I feel so very badly for what you are going through and the heavy heart and desperation you feel right now! I prayed the prayer that Susie wrote out loud for you! I will continue to pray for you fervently. I am so sorry, I had no idea you were hurting this badly. Angel, you have friends here who care about you and are interested in your needs and heartache. Maybe all some of us can do is pray, but God is almighty and powerful and I believe he will come through for you as He has for me many times in uncertain times in my life. Please keep us posted on the outcome of our prayers to you. I will be in touch with you!
Thanks, Rose! My aunt is stabilized right now. She was bleeding, but apparently from her tumors. They finally were able to talk with her doctor, and he said it was an expected thing, and to relax. So, they are in good spirits. She is still dying, of course. But hopefully it won't be in such an awful way. We are all very grateful for everyone's prayers!
Oh thank you Susie for letting us know. always let us know so we can know how our prayers are answered. God does not always choose to heal if he wants a child of his home. He must have some special plans for her up in heaven to do. Know that he will take her home peacefully when He is ready to take her and into the arms of angels and will comfort you and your family in the meantime and afterwards.
I'm so sorry to hear about all you are going through. Remember...Jesus is the peace in the storm. He can utter 'peace, be still' and all has to cease. I also prayed Susie's prayer for you...and all I want to add is"
Lord you said "In that day of trouble" we would cry out to you and you would say, "Here I am." Lord, touch Angel, use this situation to bring her in a closer relationship with you. Father reveal your love, power and grace. Lord give her Your Peace---the peace that surpasses all human comprehension. In Jesus' Name A-men.
Angel read Psalm 40, 25 and 139. I will continue to pray for your situation.
Angelina, my dear, it pains to hear this. No wonder you've been so quiet these days. I too have been finding my way back to God, and I have to keep reminding myself of one thing. When you are in need and you feel you have betrayed God by putting him away for so many years, agnowledge him and he will show you his eternal love. He would never betray you or leave you in need, no matter how your relationship with him has been in the past.
Suzie, I haven't heard prayer like that in a very long time, and I felt a lot of peace after going through the prayer with you. The spirit of God moves in you, show it as much as you can.
Angelina, I don't know that I can help financially, but I do see a need that I can help with. It was the first thing that came into my head, and I feel compelled to help out this way. Could you tell me how many kids you have and their ages/gender. Christmas is coming and I'd hate to see them go without anything. I'm sorry if this doesn't help you in your struggle, but it's what I'd like to do. If that's ok, pm me with some idea of what their intrests are and mailing info.
