Just a quick note that we are switching over to a new fiber optic network on September 13, 2011 at around 7:00 p.m.

This will result in a major reconfiguration of our web services as our IP address is changing. Generally when IP changes it can take up to 96 hours for the changes to filter down to all of the major backbone servers on the internet.

So, we will have sporadic access in the coming days, but we expect by Thursday our site should be completely operational on a speedy new fiber optic line that will result in better access for all.

AND - we will have more details on our new premium quality HD Highlander Radio Live stream later on the week. Looking forward to providing Highlander Radio in pure CD quality 128kps HD quality sound!

Any idea why the players (Winamp, Windows Media, etc) still aren't working? I can access Highlander through live365, but prefer the players.

Suggestions?

I've always found iTunes the easiest player to deal with. Both Highlander Radio and Northern Woods Radio streams are working at the present time with iTunes. thumbs_up.gif

Seems to be just a problem for me with Highlander. Northern Woods works with all the players. I can't even access Highlander on the site (through the pop-out player). It's stuck on Aomusic's Kumale Saleyo, as it has been for days. Dannnggggg it sad.gif

It's been a rough few days, but we now have Celtic Radio 100% back online and at blistering new speeds! Took us a little bit of time to configure the new fiber optic network to work with our local area network, but we completed the final leg of work tonight.

Thanks for everyones patience during this time and we hope you enjoy the faster website and increased quality and stability in our streams.

Any listening issues should now be resolved, if you still have issues please report here.

Yep, here too. Highlander won't work on any of the players, not even the site's player. Still stuck on Kumale Saleyo...

I can't listen to the new stream on Radio365 or Winamp. It plays for a few seconds and then stops.

Our apologies on the delay in getting to this, we have made some adjustments to the streams which should correct the issues you have been experiencing.

Been working on some minor issues with our servers configuring the new network we are using. Slowly getting everything back up and functioning!

We are now working on some email issues with the web based forms. Most of the forms in the forum are working and we just fixed our contact form. There are various other contact forms, etc. that will be need to be updated. Also Medieval Kingdom looks like it might need a bit of work.

Will be working on these issues for the next 3-4 days.

Many thanks for your feedback! Based on our testing we believe the site is responding much faster than in the past.

So far, we have been monitoring our streams and they are rock stable. No drops in the past 24 hours which is an amazing improvement from our prior Internet Provider.

Right now we are working on changing the way our web forms for contact work. So, our contact form just started working again as of last night. If you sent us any technical support questions prior to that this week, please resend as we did not receive them.

We will be sending a mass email out soon to announce our improved site status and also about our Highlander Radio HD stream located here:
