Apple's software gurus made a change in how iTunes for Windows handles MP3s and now on older AMD processors (and I believe some Intel Pentium and Celeron processors too) the iTunes program will not playback MP3 files or MP3 streams properly. walkman.gif sad.gif

As best I can tell Apple is aware of this and supposedly working on a fix (but Apple has never impressed me with their support or keeping their customer base advised on problems/fixes). sad.gif

I'm glad I'm not the only person that doesn't like Apple. Once my ipod completely stops working I'm going to try and never use an apple product again.

I like a number of their products, I'm just not impressed with their post sale customer service and support.

There appears to be a buy back in progress involving apple I pods. I have gotten mail almost daily offering a pre paid mailer to send the product to the proposed purchaser even if the I phone does not work.

I have an Apple computer as one of three but have purchased no other apple products
