I know that a few may have seen it in another thread but I wasn't sure at first where I could post it so that everyone interested could see it.But after reflexion I decided to post it here as a new topic so that all will be able to see and post their comments.

It is with great pleasure that I accepted along with my husband the invitation received by my friend Camac to meet at a rendez-vous point in Ottawa yesterday.

Like I mentionned previously in my other post it was a great day in many ways,
the weather was perfect and we enjoyed a good meal together and chit and chat about nothing and everything, exchange little tokens as souvenirs and since our dear Camac is a cherry lollipop lover so I indulged him with his favorites.
Here we are together savouring this wonderful delicacy...a cherry lollipop.

Thank you my friend for the lovely afternoon spent in your compagny it was great fun.

That was nice that you could meet like that, and share a nice day together. I think it would fun to meet with some of the people that close to where I live,the I could have a face to go along with the post and the medieval game. That too me would be nice. biggrin.gif

Too bad I'm on the opposite corner of the continent. Sounds like a very good day was had by all.

What fun! You got to meet with someone that you had been talking to on here...I don't think there is anyone very close to where I live to meet up with...I'm glad you all had such a grand time...

Hey Guys;

I've gotta get my 2 cents in here. Thanks to everyone for I had a really great time meeting LOA and her husband. We don't live that close to-gether. We met just south of Ottawa and Ottawa is 5 1/2 hrs by train from Oakville and LOA had to drive about 2 hrs from where she is in Quebec so we are about a days' travel from one another. About 700KM by road nigh on 500 miles.

Camac.

Hi everybody thanks for the lovely comments.

Camac is right we had to both travel some distance but it was worth it a thousand times for it was fun. That day brought smile to my face for the day before it was funerals for me.
It was a blast and hope to do it again sometimes in the future.
Though the lollipop were a bit big it was good and it had been a long while since I had one of those thing....
