The largest shark that I have caught was about 7 foot. Needless to say I did not boat this fish. I cut the line at the hook and let him live and fight again another day. Last week I caught a cobia about 3 feet that weighed about 25 lbs. I love to catch red fish in the surf in the fall. These fish weigh from 10-50 lbs. I just love to fish. Yes, I do catch my share of small fish. This time of year on Georgia's coast I catch trout, redfish, and flounder. Most of these fish are 5 lbs. are less. Once you saltwater fish you will never want to fish for freshwater fish again. cool.gif

A great day fishing Sunday afternoon. Caught 3 bonnetheads and 1 Atlantic Sharp nose sharks. Each one were about 3-4 feet in length and a mouth full of teeth. Just brought them up to the boat and released them to fight again another day. I was not shark fishing but fishing for trout and redfish. cool.gif
