I recently purchased this celtic cd from our local library when they were having a book sale. I know the song is called Ciara, but I don't know who sings it. Does anyone know or have any sort of idea? I really like this song, it is stuck in my head, and I want to see what the rest of the cd sound like. thanks!

Ciara is by Luka Bloom and can be found on Windham Hill's Celtic Christmas album. Beautiful song. One of my favorites.

If I had to take a wild guess I would guess . . .

Celtic Christmas
a Windham Hill sampler

"Ciara" by Luka Bloom (formerly Barry Moore) out of Melbourne, Australia.

Here, you can listen to various tracks of the recording:

Celtic Christmas Sampler

But that's based on the limited info provided and no description of the who or what the vocalist is.

Is this correct?

Thank you both very much, yes that is it, in fact, it looks as if you found the whole cd I have. It didn't come with an insert or the case, only a sleeve and it has our library's name written on it with a permanet marker, so I couldn't really make out any details of what the cd says except I can see the picture on the front. I apprecaite the help, thanks again !!!! biggrin.gif clap.gif smile.gif

oops, I just read my first post and realized it didn't make a whole lot of sense in the last line. I was looking for that b/c I really, really liked that song, it sticks in your head and I wanted to see what that singer, luka bloom, had to offer on other cd's.
