Read this morning that Bush said that in 2003 he gave up playing golf in order to show solidarity with the Iraq war dead. Does he really think that giving up a game makes up for the thousands of lives he's wasted and the hundreds of thousands more he's ruined? Is he really so stupid and arrogant that he thinks his slightest inconvienence makes up for a war? |

ABORT BUSH NOW! I’ve been both wearing, and caring that sign, since I unveiled it at the last coronation. Which I would bet was won by some kind of skullduggery. |

It wasn't skullduggery, it was ELECTION FRAUD in Ohio! His daddy and grand daddy kept him out of Viet Nam because he wasn't smart enough to take care of himself. Drugs and alcohol played a part too. They got him out of the Air National Guard to help in a relative's election bid (in another state). They had already moved him from one unit to another to make sure he wouldn't be deployed. For those of you who served in the military, what would have happened if you were ordered to report for a physical and you didn't report? I know what would have happened to me! Canada's PM called him a moron. Google the clinical description of a moron and see what you think. Slàinte, Patch |

How is giving up golf relevant to war casualties? |
Posted by: Patch 15-May-2008, 11:37 AM
Be VERY thankful that your mind does not work like his. The golf logic is so convoluted that I can not begin to fathom his reasoning. I guess it is probably a good thing that he has pocketed the money while he was in office. He sure won't do well on the lecture circuit. Slàinte, Patch |

Only a simpleton can under stand a simpleton, and being some what of a simpleton? My guess is, giving up golf is his sacrifice. |

Methinks some in his office said it wouldn't look right for the Commander In Chief to be golfing while his troops fought and died. Nero fiddling while Rome burned and all that. Camac. |

You are probably right but for him to compare giving up golf to giving up ones life is beyond asinine! He and Cheney (and also Clinton) are prime examples of why anyone who has not served in the regular army and preferably in combat should never be the "Commander in Chief." That does not mean I approve of McCain. Slàinte, Patch |

Patch; Under our system the Queen in the person of the Govenor General is C. in C. of our armed forces. Stictly symbolic the actual Commander is the Chief of the Defense Staff. A General, Admiral or Air Marshall. Camac. |

I can agree! Slàinte, Patch |

I wish that were the case here. McCain has the military background but he is deeply flawed. That may be even more dangerous. Slàinte, Patch |

We jumped the gun on this one, because I just learned that Bush was lying when he said that he quit playing golf. Should we be surprised? |
Posted by: Patch 15-May-2008, 09:41 PM
Nope! His daddy lied to us "no new taxes". "The nut never falls far from the tree!" Slàinte, Patch |

Patch; Just remember that in 8 months Georgie (Yosemite Sam) Bush will ride off into the sunset with his loyal side kick Dick (Stone face ) Cheney. Camac . |

Oh my goodness, I'm devastated that such a paragon of virtue and humanity could tell a prevarication (I can't bring myself to say li.... that word) Nurse! I'm ready for my medication now. |

When that happens, I will sing the "Hallelujah" chorus from Handel's Messiah! |

Yes, but I shudder to think of the MESS he will be walking away from. Slàinte, Patch |
