| What is the best way to archive your digital photos? I know it is not 100% safe to keep your digital photos on your hard drive. So how does everyone else safeguard their work? Do you do it online? How about burning them to a disk? |

| DVDs are great for this! My dad uses external hard drives. |

| I use CDs, external hard drives and web albums. And some of my favorites I print out and put in photo albums. I probably over archive but I am not convinced that CDs are going to last. Aaediwen, are there specific DVDs one should use for photo archiving? Great question, JP! I was wondering how others archived their photos as well. |

| Try to look for archival gold DVD's. They have been tested and are predicted to last up to 100 years. They aren't cheap, though. http://blogs.pcworld.com/staffblog/archives/001260.html |
