Hadrian's Wall appeared at Valley Forge this past weekend, as they have done for 10 years straight. The past 2 years, it was tough to watch them perform. The main members weren't into the music because of changing personnel at critical times during the show season.
Well, Hadrian's Wall is back and they lit a fire under Valley Forge. New violinist, Jonathan Moorman, adds a stage presence that has been missing from the "Wall" show. Neil (guitar), Richard (drummer) and one year seasoned Gilbert Joanis (bass), all had smiles on their faces and were enjoying themselves. The newly found attitude produced a very energetic and lively show for those that didn't wish to stand for the jammed packed Gaelic Storm show.
We talked with Neil after the show and he said he was very enthused about the new line-up and how quickly they have come together. Unfortunately, their schedule is rather limited for this year, since Neil is getting married soon and wishes to cut back on shows for awhile. He said to check the web page frequently, since they may add a show here and there.
This time tomorrow night, Neil will be married. He was over here last night to pick up his ring and it sounds like his wedding might rival the Glengarry Highland Games Friday night party!!
