Hello, all! I've been listening to HR for a while now, but this is my first time on the forums.

I heard a song yesterday which I can't seem to find the name for. The phrase "when everything's right with the world" was used repeatedly, in such a way that I assumed it was the title of the song--and we all know what they say about assuming... and at the very least I should have checked the site for the artist's name. Ah well, hindsight is 20/20

Anyhoo, enough with cliches. Does anyone know which song I'm talking about? It had a man singing it (possibly two), but aside from that, I'm not too sure.

Thanks in advance!

I keep hearing good stuff from them. They are performing at Irishfest this weekend so I think I'll check them out. I'll let everyone know how it went!

Ther is one song that I am trying to find. Heard it last week near the end of the week. It was a spoken word with a thick scottish accent. Band was a Highland band (Dragoon/). Its a long shot but I thought I would try. The story was baout a battle but that is all I remember.

It might have been " The Battle of Harlaw", several bands have done this one, Old Blind Dogs is one I know of.

I'll check on it. This one had a name like Something Highland Pipe Band, yada, yada, it was more a story that as dramatized than a song. The speaker had a thick Scottish accent. Maybe it was part of the Bedtime stories since I'm usually on late at night here. I remember clicking on the Buy it button but there was no CD cover and I didn't pursue it further which I probably should have. Hopefully, I'll hear it again.

Getting closer to finding the song. It sounds like it was the Melbourne Scottish Fiddle Club but the story had either something to do with a battle possibly with Wallace because the "Freedom" cry and the accent used in the story was what caught my attention. Very similar to the "Ballad of Lam Tim"

Could you be more specific as to when it played? I have a seach script in the chatroom that can search based on time, but returning several days of resutls I doubt would be fruitful. And Approximately what hours do you remember it playing between?

We have another listener searching for a song:

QUOTE

I am looking for a song I heard a while back, do not remember the name or who made it, other than it had a real steady drum beat and something something "the green man" then something "may queen", rather bit of pagan reference made throughout the song.  It was a man's voice and had a feel of like something you would hear at a Ren.Fair, at any rate this is a bit off, but hoping that someone would know the tune.
Any help would be great...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
