One of the best days of the year!
On Friday the 16th I'm having my annual St. Patricks's day party in my basement home celtic pub Tomfoolery's. Lots of coworkers, family, and friends over for a grand time.
Saturday my daughter is doing an little Irish step performance and then off to O'Connor's restaurant in Worcester for a festive dinner.
Then off to the South Boston St Patrick's Parade on Sunday. My brother has a condo right on the route of the parade for another fun celebration.
3 days of pure fun, laughs, and spirits.
I got to check if I got enough green clothes!

Sorry, I celebrate for three weeks:

This Saturday is one of my favorite bands Barlyjuice.
Sunday is the Washington D.C. St. Patrick's Parade
Next Saturday (the Day) is a Dinner Dance at my Church
Following Saturday is Parade in Harrisburg.
Oh yes, and kilted at work for the next three Friday's.

If you are in either Washington or Harrisburg for the parade's, look me up. I will be with the Irish Wolfhounds.

Happy St Patrick's Day to all. A friend is taking me to a concert Fri night. Sat I will listen to Celtic Radio as I bake Irish soda bread for friends & family. Many years ago a dear old Irish lady ( Mrs. Ryan, God rest her soul) gave me her recipe.

For part of the day on St. Patrick's Day, I'll be traveling back home from a Conference in Williams, Arizona. Pretty area!

We are not sure when we will have our St. Patrick's Day meal. Could be a day or two after the actual day because of schedule. Oh well, all of March is worth celebrating! And to think, last year at this time, the wife and I were in Ireland! Oh, to go back!

We will be taking our granddaughter to the District 4-H fnals. She won local 4-H competition with the history of the circus. Each time Barnum and Bailey comes to Savannah we go to the circus. We will celebrate St. Patrick's Day later in the day on the coast. Yes, St. Patrick's Day is my birthday and I do have green eyes. at the Ironwood Theatre. Going kilted with my wife and three of her coworkers (all nurses). Should be a good show and then over to the pub to have some after show refreshments.

My local Scottish society is crashing the Irish society's party! biggrin.gif It's actually a potluck and cash bar, so I guess it's not really crashing if you bring food and pay for your booze, right?

Hope everyone has a safe St. Paddy's Day! beer.gif

May your glass be ever full.
May the roof over your head be always strong.
And may you be in heaven half an hour before the devil knows you're dead.
