Since I'm a stickler when it comes to literary terms, I admit I made an error in calling this a limerick per say...

I suppose (and I use that term very loosely) that what I've started could be called a "lyric" because I thought of it in terms of being a fun little Irish drinking song. If anyone has any idea what the correct term for this type of writing I've started feel free to chime in! By all means...
