Dear 'WizardofOwls"

Thank you SO MUCH for the Gaelic lyrics and English translation of Na Hu O Ho.

I obtained the CD Celtic Christmas years ago when I wanted to branch out from 'traditional' Christmas Tunes.

It has always been a favorite and became especially important to me when my husband deployed to Iraq Fall, 2005. For an entire year I listed to this album daily on my commute to work and this song in particular, over and over. It was calming, centering, and over time I was able to sing most of it.

I've always wanted the lyrics to sing it completely and correctly and a translation to know what I was singing.

While certainly NOT a Christmas tune, I see I was, in a strange way, singing that lament to my husband, gone so far from me. While not chasing 'red haired May' his mistress of service to country kept him from home. So I find it apropos.

Thank you again
