On top of yonder hill
I'd sit there to look my fill
For the moon was high
Up on to the sky
Her reflection was perfect beauty
The light eerie upon the sea
With only the wind
To caress my skin
This wonderful peacefulness
Was a balm to my loneliness...
For when the mind is moonstruck
The heart will never turn to rock.

This poem was written as I was sitting by the ocean in Nova Scotia.
The scenery in front of me was just beautiful, a clear night and so peaceful.

There is nothing like water and nature to find peace and quiet.

Hi LOA, I’ve seen Nova Scotia, and it is poetic.
Thanks for posting this poem,
