I like most of the Britcoms mentioned, but my favorites are a recent one called My Hero and I LOVE Ballykissangel, even though it is not a Britcom so much as a soap opera. The British sense of humor is so great! biggrin.gif

Blackadder by far. But I have to mention Father Ted too, which is stretching the "britcom" thing since it was Irish.

Blackadder, Red Dwarf, and the Young Ones -- why is it that the best Britcoms are also the sickest and most violent. wink.gif

Also good were Are You Being Served?, Chef, and the Vicar of Dibley.

Chef is the show that first got me interested in cooking. I think it was the towering rages he flew into, whenever anyone screwed up his kitchen. Of course, my wife only let me try that once. . .

My brother used to watch Chef all the time. I've only seen one episode. I wish it was on tv here. Maybe I'll see if Netflix has it.

And great to see another Vicar fan. Ny wife and I just finished watching the complete series last week. It's a shame their weren't more episodes. Did you know there were only three seasons, but they spanned from 1994 to 2000? Strange, me thinks.
