Something I was thinking about, not sure how well it'll work. Many songs give us various imagry as we listen to them. I was thinking to try something like cherades with it. Describe some of the imagry you get from a song, without using a line from the song. Then it's up to someone else try to figure out what song you're thinking of. Here's one to start:

A recently healed angel gliding above a city of gold where she has been healing. In the streets below all manner of vandalism, murder, lies, and broken dreams. As she leaves, headed home.

PS: Might be a good idea to quote the post you're replying to in case we get several going

I also notice noone else has posted any for us to try our hand at. A co-worker rattled off 5-6 songs I wasn't familiar with today when I gave him more precise clues than are here. I told him it was 80's Rock, and gave the initials. He still couldn't get it after I told who the artist was. (Although he got the album then)

A man walks through his home town remembering the great things he has done and seen. He explains how different his city is and how fun it is. FS

Makes me think of a perticular country tune from the mid-late 90's. But I know what I'm thinking of doesn't fit. as I'm almost completely sure the initials don't match

It makes me think of a few John Mellencamp songs. FS? hmm..

Here is another clue maybe I can hint without completely giving it away.

He is from a special era of music and he also acted in several movies back in his day.

Artist would be Frank Senatra. I'm not familiar enough with his work to tell you what song it is though. although I'm guessing I'd know the song if I heard it.
