I started my "collection" with a $50 hanger from a online sword store. I wouldn't trust it to cut balsa wood but it looked good on my belt. I recently found a blacksmith in the Georgia area who is a very talented sword maker and acquired my "permanent" (until I can afford another) sword. His swords are combat ready, steel on steel or you can cut a tree down if you are so inclined...
