| From ionamusic.com... On Saturday, August 24 at 7 pm, Isla will be baaaack! Peter Cairney, world class guitarist, who has performed with the iconic Scottish band, Ossian, and Deborah Packard, she of the voice that can break your heart, weave Scottish and Appalachian spells to entrance their audiences. Peter brings mountain dulcimer and harmonica to the mix, while Deborah provides whistle and harmonium accompaniment. Please email/call for reservations and address: [email protected] /703-426-1450. We HOPE the concert will take place on our deck in the woods (we'll move inside in case of inclement weather), so please bring lawn chairs, a picnic or BYOB if you'd like. Homemade desserts, fruit, snacks and soft drinks will be available gratis. A donation of $20/each that will go directly to the performer would be greatly appreciated. |
