Boy do I love the Pumpkin Ales out there! Just tastes so right for this time of year doesn't it??

The ones I have been enjoying lately is Samuel Adams "Harvest Pumpkin Ale" - Boston Beer Company and "Smuttynose Pumpkin Ale" - Smuttynose Brewing Company.
I absolutely love the bars that coat the top of the glass with a brown sugar and cinnamon mix!! Started doing it at home.
Looking forward to delving into other pumpkin ales.

Whatcha got???

Here's is a list of Pumpkin Ales from the Beer Advocate:

My favorite pumpkin ale is Spiced Harvest Ale by Fordham Brewing Co. in Delaware.

I absolutely LOVE the Pumpkinhead (now called Pumpkinworks) Ale from the Salem Beer Works! I'll drink it all year long, but it's especially good at this time of year. Pumpkin flavored ale, with just a hint of spices coming through.....MMMmmmmm!!

I'm sure it's available at all Beer Works locations. Salem's just the nearest one for us. Here's the link: http://www.beerworks.net/home/index.html

Enjoy!!

P.S. Togo and Shadows, I'll have to just get some of the ales you've mentioned and do a taste test. I know, it's a tough job, but someone's gotta do it. I'm volunteering! laugh.gif laugh.gif

Never could bring myself to try them. Don't like pumpkin pie, doubt I'd care for it in beer!

Well the Pumpkin Ale season is upon us! Any new ones to try out?

Here's one top list for 2013. I'm going to see if I can find a couple. I have tried the Smuttynose on the list and highly recommend it.
