I saw them in concert a few months ago. I was amazed by the talent these women have! I don't like to pay a lot of money for tickets...but this show was well worth the ticket price!!

They are so lovely and their voices are like the angels. Such true sweet
tones. And they really enjoy what they are doing.........Amazing women.
I have several of their CDs and catch them in concert every change I get.

They were on PBS a week or so ago. Wow! Voices of Angels. I plan to see them in Charleston next month. I have bought tickets for my grandkids and daughters along with my wife to go and enjoy an evening with The Celtic Women.

The first time I heard of them was on a PBS special about their show at Slane Castle a couple of years ago i think.

I was impress by the quality of their voices and the music...well to me everything related to celtic culture is just soothing.

I'm at the library right now and I just requested the DVD for Celtic Woman: A New Journey through the suburban reciprocating system.

Boy, I'm going to go out on a limb here and state that I think CW are simply...okay. I have their first CD, but probably will not bother to buy any others. I agree they are very talented, but they simply are not my favorites.

I have all the CD's, DVD's, and have seen both tours when they came through Milwaukee. First one was definately better than the second. First one was magikal...the second not so much...the spark was missing in the second.

If you like CW you might want to be watching PBS for Anuna. Very similar styles. Now if you're wanting a bit more traditional Jig/Reel group definately check out Cherish the Ladies!

Lots and lots and lots of talented female celtic musicians!

I watched the 2nd DVD last night. It was good, but the first one was better. A lot of the songs on the 2nd were retreads. I will say one thing though: Mairead may be a classically trained violinist, but she has the soul of a fiddler biggrin.gif .
