Sorry for the down time with the forum. We have a major problem with our hosting provider stating that we are using more resources than what is allowed.

Frankly, we do not believe it as our logs and stats indicates minimal usage. It could be just a ploy to get us to increase our monthly fee of $65 to $175 which is not going to happen.

For the time being we have shut down our free email and webpage service. Don't worry, all pages have been saved, etc.

Here is our solution. We are going to build our own web/email server and run our site completely locally. For this to happen it will take alot of work, but in the end we will save about $780 a year on hosting charges!

Will keep you posted on this issue.

Thanks so much for your support!

Going to start tonight building the server. I should have done this a long time ago, but I actually didn't realize that most of the tools needed to build a server are free!

The plan is to use ScottishRadio.net as the test domain, so that all traffic for ScottishRadio.net will go towards our own webserver. Once it is all working properly, we will make the switch, hopefully by December 10th.

I'm glad the forum is back up too! ;)

::confused You didn't know that most of the tools needed to build a server are free!   :)D  I would have thought you would have known all the free spots. I could did out Jolly Green's class notes.
