| Hallo a h-uile duine! Hello everyone! I am looking for some new artisits who sing in Scottish Gaelic. I am already aware of several. Capercaillie, Mary Jane Lamond, Distant Oaks, Runrig,The Rankin Family, Catherine Anne Macphee. Can anyone suggest more? Tapadh leibh roimh làimh! Thanks in advance! |

| Looking through these old posts has gleaned me some new artists to listen to. I love Catherine Ann McPhee and most of Mary Jane Lomond does as well. I'll have to look up these other artists and get some of thier stuff. Tapadh leibh, 'yall! |

| Clannad sing in Irish Gaelic, actually Another singer I really like is Donnie Murdo MacLeod. He's definitely not easy listening, you have to pay attention when you put his music on, but what a voice! And one of the classics is Calum Kennedy, but I don't have any of his stuff yet. He might seem a bit old-fashioned now, but he didn't get that gold medal for nothing. |
