Hallo a h-uile duine!
Hello everyone!

I am looking for some new artisits who sing in Scottish Gaelic. I am already aware of several. Capercaillie, Mary Jane Lamond, Distant Oaks, Runrig,The Rankin Family, Catherine Anne Macphee. Can anyone suggest more?

They sing in Gaelic. I love their Blue Door Green Sea album which is unavailable on amazon for some reason.

Looking through these old posts has gleaned me some new artists to listen to. I love Catherine Ann McPhee and most of Mary Jane Lomond does as well. I'll have to look up these other artists and get some of thier stuff.

Clannad sing in Irish Gaelic, actually biggrin.gif

Another singer I really like is Donnie Murdo MacLeod. He's definitely not easy listening, you have to pay attention when you put his music on, but what a voice! And one of the classics is Calum Kennedy, but I don't have any of his stuff yet. He might seem a bit old-fashioned now, but he didn't get that gold medal for nothing.
