Hello,
I have a few decks, some are sets with a book

The sets are the Mythic Tarot and Arthurian Tarot.

The decks are the Londa Tarot, Witches Tarot, Unicorn Tarot, and Thoth Tarot.

I don't like the thoth deck though, can never get a reading from it. The Londa deck is my favorite, I have three copies of it. One for me and one for others, plus a spare. When I was reading all the time I would spook my friends with how accurate the reading could be. It has been a while since I have picked them up. I am hoping to get back into them soon.

Well Hubby just bought me a new deck, "The Healing Womans Tarot" it is based on the Native Americans and I love it. the art work is nice, I know a few artists here who would have done a better job, but it's still a nice deck now I get to "KNOW" the deck. I'm excited!!!!

I was taught by an old witch when I was 13(I think she was 70 or so then and that was 16 years ago) to use a regular card deck and some spreads that I haven't seen anyone else use.
Just wondering if anyone else has used a normal deck. Now mind you, the deck I use I've had in my posession since I was 11 and I'm the only one who uses it so...it's not like I pick up a deck during a poker game and give someone a reading.

My mither in law uses a deck of regular playing cards. She stopped doing it after seeing the death of a friend.

Something similar with me. Laid out the entire marriage and eath of a friend of mine. Been 100% so far.

A friend of mine stopped reading when he predicted my brothers death...that was 10 years ago and he has yet to touch another deck.

I (mostly) use the Greenwood Tarot, though I do have a few oracle decks to hand, too.

i have been using the Tarot for about 3 years now. Now I have used 2 decks in that time and found that the Celtic Dragon deck. A frind of mine who helped me learn about the Tarot, has told me that I have come quite familiar with the cards in as little as time as took most people. Give it time, you will find te right deck!!!
