Updated Playlists, Celtic Radio Channels

We have updated our Radionomy Channels with the most recent selections received from last year to current. This will keep those channels fresh with new songs for the next 6 months when we will again update those playlists.

Ye Ol' Celtic Pub has also been updated with new selections received over the past year and is sounding great.

All music received by Celtic Radio is listened, rated and placed into buckets before entering the production broadcast channels. Our playlists are not a computer generated list of songs, but a very careful process is used to create our ever changing playlists with the goal to bring you the best Celtic music listening experience.

In addition, we use member data when songs are rated and added to a favorite list to increase the rank and play value of the song. So, if you wonder why you like listening to our channels maybe a little more than some of the other services out there, now you know!

That's good to hear about Ye Ol' Celtic Pub. We are using the SonixFM technology for that channel with our music hosted on their servers. They still need to improve the playlist management tools a bit, but we are managing.

Always one of my favorites too, I really like the old time music but groups like the Clancy Brothers, Ronnie Drew and the Dubliners.
