I'm sure there are some fans of British Comedy around here. I know I am. I was curious what some of you watch, and what you'd recommend.
A few of my favourites are Coupling, The Vicar of Dibley, Ever Decreasing Circles and when in the right mood, Keeping up Appearances.
My wife want's to buy the Office, so we'll see about that one. I did try to watch one episode one time, but their accents were so strong I missed half of what they said. I'm willing to try again, though.
I love Britcoms, though I can only see the ones they show on the local PBS station. ::sigh:: My favorites are "Keeping Up Appearances", "Waiting for God", and "Are You Being Served?".
Posting this topic got me thinking about one of my favourites: Ever Decreasing Circles. I just checked to see if it's available on DVD yet. It turns out it is, but only region 2. I hate how they have different regions! Grrr.
Is anyone else familiar with this particular series? Nobody else I've ever talked to has heard of it. When I lived in PA, my local PBS station would air it.

I am Wolf. It is my cry you hear in the night, My eyes that gaze at you from the shadows. It is my heart that beats in your Soul, My strength that makes you whole. I am Wolf. I am in you. You are in Me. We Are Wolf.
Oh yes, Blackadder !! I love it... . I've seen Fawlty towers a long time ago too, but I don't remember well... . Another one I love is "Black Books", does anyone know ? It takes place in a library, the owner is M. Black, he hates to sell a book, in fact he hates everyone, he is selfish, dirty and cynical and he drinks too much... And what about "Absolutely fabulous" ?
