Listening to "The Cosmic Island" on Live365 (yes, sometimes I DO listen to stations other than HR), and just checking up on the forum. No work today, and my wife is sick, so it's going to be a lazy day. Maybe I'll go out to the craft store to get some materials for making kilt hose flashes. But I digress, because that's not really what I'm doing right now, although I guess thinking about it is what I'm doing right now.
Building X.org and trying to figure out proper sound drivers for this laptop that will wirk with a 2.6 Linux kernel... And reading the forums while I wait on the builds
Is it me, or was that about as understandable as the muted trumpet grownups' voice in the "Peanuts" cartoon specials ?

Just finished a two and a half hour conference call doing my elected (though volunteer) duty. Looks like I'm going to enjoy this bit of work . But, boy does my ear sure hurt now . Thought I would check out the forums and unwind before heading of to bed.
I'm at work right now. I just finished my music homework and in abou an hours I will be heading off to class. Then I am going to make some dinner, watch smallville, and then go out to Rooney's. Weeee.

There's a dear little plant that grows in our Isle Twas St . Patrick himself, sure, that set it; And the sun of his labour with pleasure did smile, And with dew from his eye often wet it. It grows through the bog, through the brake, through the Mireland, and they call it the dear little shamrock of Ireland.

Just got through with one of the most boring tasks ever invented: balancing my checkbook. Now, I'm listening to Highlander Radio on my iTunes with my headphones plugged into the computer.

OK, so some days ya wish you could just do over. The phone woke me VERY early this morning.....I had to get to work ASAP to cover a sick call. I've been battling a cold myself too. Ten hours later I finally leave work and I left my voice behind around noon. Got home feeling rough and sat down at the computer. Things were looking better until about a half hour ago. Seems there was a hornet sitting on the carpeted floor under my computer desk. He stung me twice....once on the right side of my right foot and once on the bottom. I also am very allergic to bee stings so after some immediate firstaid and a long conversation with my mother to let her know what's going on (I am not seeing much swelling or difficulty breathing, just pain on my foot) I'm monitoring the situation and feeling really lousy. Sorry just had to grumble a little.
Oh Gettinaway! I feel so badly for you! Poor you! I know that must have really hurt too. Hope you are doing ok! Keep us posted!
Well I have not had a good day either. Been battling mice in my garage all day! I had discovered this mouse in my enclosed garage the other night, managed to trap it in a container and set it free onto the desert...........thinking I had done a good deed! Well the doggone mouse had babies! I had tons of those varmits running all over my garage this morning and all day! I was horrified! I normally run around barefoot..............not today I tell you! I had my combat boots on! After my good deed the day before of letting this mouse go free, today I called the exterminator! Unfortunately, he can't come till Monday! so my dogs alerted me to a cat hanging around our garage door. so I opened the garage door and let the cat be in mouse heaven! She did catch one of the mice. I went out there later this day and cleaned out my garage and saw no mice. The cat kept hanging around. so I am hoping the cat ran them all off! I just now took my shoes off! If those critters come into my house, I am out of here!
