Robert Phoenix, that is just so weird. I know the feeling. That happens a lot to me and my girlfriend too, i mean that we think exactly the same thing at the same time. |

Clannad has really good songs like Loreena and Enya indeed. "I will find you" is the most well known i think. And it sure is a good song. |

QUOTE (Celtic Son @ 19-Jul-2007, 04:34 AM) | I watched Apocalypto as well. That was one awesome movie. Another I would recomend is The Messengers. I watched it on Friday the 13th. It is kind of a horror/ suspense movie. |
I didn't like Messengers too much. But it wasn't the worst kind of horror movie i've seen, but not so good either. It is something you can watch if you are bored, but not worth buying on dvd for example. |

Photoshop CS3 is pretty good update to CS2 actually. At last it has a proper b/w conversion and a little better raw support In linux i use Gimp, which is the best free image editor out there. |

QUOTE (TandVh @ 18-Jul-2007, 08:13 AM) | My wife and I watched Apocolypto - Mel Gibson's Mayan movie. Talk about barbaric! Not only were some of theose Mayans barbaric, they were also perverse! Visually awesome movie with lush jungles and beautiful cinematics. |
I watched the movie last night, i think it was a great movie. The characters were created with passion.

To Emmet.
Yes, and people say too easily that they hate something. How can they actually HATE something if they haven't even heared it well before.
About the pipers before the soldiers thing. I think so too, what would rise the spirits of soldiers more than hearing familiar sound of pipes on the battlefield. And the british must have thought something like "damn those crazy scots and their pipes, nothing will crush their spirit!".
Sorry my bad english, i hope you got the point.
Have you been playing pipes long time yourself? |

Ah, that is just great! Did you do the handfasting? It's hard to find people to do that here in Finland, we have tried to look for someone with my girlfriend, but with no luck so far. Pipers are also very hard to find here. And you can't have scottish wedding without pipes.
The pipes are just so big part of Scotland.
By the way, does the pipe band you are playing have any recorded material? It would be great so hear some
