Just so you know. Yes the Peckery and I did survive the deadly tornados that ravaged Indianapolis this weekend, or as one news personality put it. "the tornados that came blaring through the Indianapolis area with the cliche sounds of a locomotive" I think these tornados need to step it up a notch and use some different sounds, Perhaps a jet airplane or a formula one racer |

Tomatoes ravaged Indianapolis? |

heee heee..... yeah, green ones |

Who thinks like that? "Do you hear a tornado coming?" both turn to look "Bah! So cliche." both sucked up the funnel. |

I have heard 2 Tornadoes in my life. They sort of sounded like trains to me. One of them was within 200 yards of me while I was out Catfishing with a Friend of mine in the night. We did not see it coming. It was rated between a F0 to F1. That one was bad enough. |

I put an ear to the rail road track rail to know if they are coming. |

Raven was much closer to the action than we were on his side of town, |

A friend of mine brought back some interesting pictures after he had one pass right over his head in Georgetown, IN. I'm trying to get ahold of soft copies of his pics! And yes, that's what he was there for; for the tornados. |

Isn't this sacrilegious? Couldn't you be arrested and thrown under the jail? Wouldn't the correct description be "sounds like an Indy car"? |

How can sock monkeys hear anything? Aren't their ears filled with stuffing ? |

Sockabelle could only be so lucky. First thing she's gonna buy with your Life Insurance Check is a sports car, red! |

Steve That would be quite the sneaky tornado that would pull that little trick hear in Indianapolis. The unsuspecting resident could easily think that he/she was actually hearing the race due to some wierd atmoshperic trick and fail to take cover in time Of course it would be okay to sound like an Indy car in August when we have the Brickyard or in September when we have the F1 race. Perhaps we could reach a compromise and they could start sounding like a space shuttle launch. Right now the tornados in this town are quite predictable. They always take the south bypass (to avoid the traffic and besides there are more trailers on that route ) |

Everybody in Ohio knows that there are two places here you stay away from during Tornado Season. 1. Xenia, Ohio. 2. Trailer Courts. Trailer Courts are Tornado Magnets. |

What do a divorce and a tornado have in common in Kentucky? Some one is gonna loose a trailer. (Celtic Radio members from that geographic portion of the US excluded of course) Raven bows politely with a flourish of wings. |

Posted by: Raven 02-Jun-2004, 01:40 PM |
I knew if I played this right I could force a confession out of you on both counts---so you are a guitar player and a banjo player to boot after all!! (looks inocently at Sarge) why I don't have anything against drummers at all....some of my favorite sock puppets are drummers |
