Death, I do Not fear you Indeed I would Welcome you. For I grow weary Of this World, its Wars and Fears. The selfishness, and Despair, do sicken My very soul The greed, the want And pettiness do Tear my Heart To shreds. The lack of kindness Care and Love do Rend my turmoiled mind. So come my Friend For tired and weary I do grow. Yes Come my Friend and Ease my troubled soul. |

Weariness is depicted in this piece that unfortunately reflects my inner thoughts more then I even let on the world to see...but one must not let it get the best of oneself for then it would be called depression... I like your poem my friend for the words are so very true for those of us that won't speak of them out loud but keep them buried deep inside our soul. LOA |

I cried when I read this poem for it was like you looked inside of me and wrote what I have been feeling for awhile now. Val |

I find myself wanting to give into the feeling you have laid out in that beautiful poem. Yet I am forced to keep pressing forward. I hope you will as well! |
