How cool is this? A professor from The University of Cork is visiting my town and will read The Lament of Art O'Leary in Gaelic on Friday. I'm so excited I can't see straight!
Woo hoo!!!

The big question is, Will you understand what he's saying?
I could probably pick out some words here and there. I'm still in the learning process and at my age, learning a new language is not so easy.
An bhfuil mórán Gaeilge agat? Tá beagán Gaeilge agam.
Anyway, I do hope you enjoy the recital.

Is mise Robert,
Slán agat!

Luckily, he had the english translation right next to the gaelic. I did okay until the part at the wake in their home. Plus, the sheer speed at which he spoke was amazing.
