Celtic Radio Network App, Getting it to work for Founders.

Here is an idea we will be working on for our founder accounts.

So our Celtic Radio App unfortunately has to have a separate user name database and password system that is different then the desktop version of Celtic Radio. This is simply due to the demands of the new technology that runs our app - it is simply not compatible with our original member database.

Very soon though we will be including this user name and password information in your premium dashboard. In addition, when a new member signs up for the Celtic Radio Founder's club, their login details will automatically be created for the app and emailed to the new member.

We will also be providing this information in our yearly or monthly emails, depending on what plan you chose at sign-up. That way you always have the login information for our App anytime you need it.

This will be important for the future because eventually premium account holders (founders) will have access to an ad free version of the App. We are not there yet, but making progress. There could also be some other perks too, so keep watching this area for more details.

Our mobile app and new member database adds an exciting layer to Celtic radio. We current have almost 8,000 members signed up through our mobile App and it is growing every day. As it continues to grow we will be adding more and more features. So thanks to our Celtic Radio Founder's for contributing to this effort - we simply could not do it without you!

Just a quick note that we are now providing username and password registration for our Celtic Radio Network App for Founder members.

When you sign up as a founder or when it renews we will automatically add you to the App member database and provide you with sign-on credentials for the App.

In addition, we now have two groups available under the App. One is the free Basic Group and the other is the Paid Premium Group.

Both have access to the App and there is currently no difference in what you get from each group. We might use this ability in the future to provide different services to each group, but for now there is no difference.

The app is good, but even though the demands of the app are different than what is used for the computer, I'd like to see if it would be possible to have both linked up.

That is a great suggestion. Right now we are thinking about our new site which is a very longs way off in development.

Some thoughts to bring the App and the Website in line better would be to have the login for the website be the email address. There still would be a member name.

But if the two were sync'd up we could have the passwords sync'd too.

About the App - we are supporting the App even more now that we have gone on to a dedicated plan for the App developers that will see us having a dedicated manager handle all updates, upgrades and to make the App function on all mobile devices. While it is was a little pricey to gain this dedicated support for our App - it will benefit our listeners for a more stable and functioning App.
