Because of this 'wonderful winter wallop', we have at least 15 inches of snow here in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia, and still anticipating more. Haven't had snow like this for at least 5 years, so I guess we need to be thankful. Hard to be that when you have difficulty getting out your front door!

Right now in Fargo, ND, we've still got around 18 inches of snow from the fist of the Christmas blizzard that was driven in our gut. Though we're trying to keep the apartment as tightly closed as possible to keep out the -33 temperature with wind chill going on out there. It's not working too well. laugh.gif

I had to scrape ice off my windshield this morning. The strawberries were just starting to come in too. There is a rumor on the weather stations that we might see the white stuff in the sky Friday night. I will probably stay up to watch for that! I remember it actually snowing in Florida in the late 70's. I know - everyone else is sick of snow - sorry!

Hang in there. My Grandfather said that a true Scot never saw fit to put on trousers! I always suspected the weather may have been a bit milder in Scotland. Since my ancestors cane from the Highlands, one would not think so.

10 degrees this AM with three and a half foot drifts. I am certainly glad we have global warming.

It was single digits when I went out to start my car this morning, the frost on it was 1/4 inch thick. Only 2 more months of winter!

Cloudy with sunny period, High of 1C (34F). Praying for NO freezing rain. I have a crazy hill I have to climb (driving) on my way to work and not too sure if I'd be able to make it in those conditions..... unsure.gif

We have had a nice "January thaw" with temperatures in the upper 30 to 40 degree F the last few days. A welcome relief from the subzero temps of last week. It won't last however.
