I wanted to put a picture in my signature, but it is like 460x780 pixels or something, so it is huge. Is there a way to resize the picture and then re-insert it (or resize it there), because it only lets you insert images or hyperlinks....

most good image editing software makes resizing an image an easy task, PS, GIMP, PSP, I know those make it easy. Not sure how easy it's be in other programs though. Cropping could be done via Windows imaging and the clipboard if nothing else, but as for resizing, I'm not sure right off the top of my head and not in Windows atm to investigate.
In Windows, if the picture is in My Pictures, open that. Double click on the picture you want to resize and it should open in Microsoft Photo Editor. In the top tool bar, click on Image, then from the drop down menu, click on resize. A small window will pop up with options to resize by percentage or by inches. Try reducing the percentage then click OK. To see what size it is now, right click on the picture (still in photo editor) and click on properties from the pop up menu. This will list the size and you can make further adjustments as needed.
I have been told that we are unable to put pictures in our signatures, so a heads' up for everyone on that. Thanks so much for your help, though! And thanks for letting me know we aren't supposed to do that anymore, MDF3530!
I'll try not to take sides here, because I personally would love everyone to be able to post a nice banner under their posts like we used to to in my EQ forums. I will say it's one of those things you're not supposed to do though.
