Here is a picture of our dog. He is very friendly and loves to lick people to death! He can be a little overbearing. He loves his bone too! I don't know what is with the weird eyes. Call him alien dog! In the background is Gretchen. We call her Grit sometimes. Remember that John Wayne movie with the dog named Grit? She is our old dog - a sweetheart she is! 14 years old!

Yep! Those are my Puppys! Well gretta is not really a pup but i call her one! Hunter is really something isnt he. I love him to pieces. Dont tell any one but I pamper my dog more than any one in my family!! hes special. he's well behaved when he wants to be. If people come over than all he wants to do i lick them lol. He thinks who ever walks into our house has come to see him and no one else. He has a Attitude like "Look at me Aren't I so Beutiful?" Hes a very Proud dog whenever I take him outside And our neighbors are out , he trys to look his best , he put his heas up real high and Prances around like telling them "I'm the best dog in the world!" That's why I think he would be a great show dog! He loves showing off he would be a real show winner. he thinks hes a horse , really he does. Have you ever seen a dog buck ? , or rear? Hunter does you let him loose and he bucks like a horse. He was born at a stable so that might explain his love for horses. He is very large for a lab. Hes certainly not the average height. Belive it or not he loves Baths. He loves getting wet. ( I think because at the end he likes to shake all the water off all over me But thats another story wink.gif ) Hunter is my best friend! I love his "Look at me" Attitude. He doesn't think he's Beutiful He knows it! tongue.gif

You've some fine lookin' beasts there, and I see they don't miss many meals

If I did this right you should see my wee little pound puppy. He's part St. Bernard and part Alaskan Fence Jumper, weighs in about 6 1/2 stone (roughly 90 lb). My wife and I rescued him from the pound the day after he'd been scheduled for euthanisia. The vet in charge of the job put his name at the bottom of the list and worked really slowly.

If I didn't do it right the only thing you'll see below is my signature.

Nice dog. He looks like a charactor! wink.gif And to be rescued from the pound, that is a great second chance you gave him!! Look like your picture worked fine!

Oh he's a character all right. Quite the exuberant fellow. I'm working with him for drafting (or in the UK - draughting) and he's coming along well. He thinks pulling a travois, cart or sledge is pure fun. I'm hoping he'll do well in some weight pulls this winter, and maybe win some dogfood. As scary as he looks, he LOVES his people. He thinks everyone is his new best friend.

I had some help with the picture. Scottish2 helped make things right after I boogered it up.

Hi everyone, been away from here for a few days but this is a nice thread. I don't have a picture of our animals that is postable, but I do have a little story about them if anyone is interested in reading it. It is locatedhttp://www.geocities.com/commentsfromazuero/page2.html#dogs

Hi Leo. Gypsy sounds like a fun dog, another one with a lot of character. Thanks for sharing the story.

They are both cute!!!

Remind me to post a foto of spats (yes I know awful name, but he's not my dog, mine is a nice big Rottie named Shorty)... Spats is: half Rottie half Golden Retriever. He's got the cutest face and he's such a nice dog.
My BF's brother got him out of a SPACC (or how that organisation is called) home. He has cigarette burns all over and some very bad neuroses - I can't understand why people do that. The most wondrous thing tho is that Spats is still a very nice dog, not aggressive or anything.. just VERY lazy... rolleyes.gif
