Earlier today I received 3 emails from someone that was upset because he/she was attacked while not online at night. They seemed to think that there is a set time to do battle I guess when only they are up.
I was under the impression that war can happen at anytime of the day/evening/night, etc. but if there is a set business hour setting that everyone is attacking please let me know. I work overnight shifts so that is the only time I usually am able to get on when i'm either at work or off that night and at home. I sleep during the day so I could make the same argument that it is unfair that someone is attacking me in the middle of the day.
Does anyone else have a problem with at what time of the day are they attacked or is it understood by them as I stated before, that war can come calling at your doorstep at anytime during the day.

Also, I appreciate this person stopping at the end of the sentence and not havign the guts to finish it. ex. you son of a ..... or my favorite one i see you like to attack at night just like your m.... hmmm could they have meant mother, minister, maybe my monkey? if your going to insult me at least finish it off and make yourself seem like more than just a lil high school girl

Works for me. My time's to be attacked are from noon central time till 2pm central. Then from midnight central time till 2 am. The rest of the time i'm at work, or busy with home, kids etc.

well i welcome an attack at anytime i'm not going to give everyone a certain time that they can attack me just doesn't seem right. there are times when i can't get on here for hours sometimes even a day or two on here but I wouldn't expect anyone not to attack me when i'm gone, it's just part of the game

I totally agree, this is getting ridiculous here.

Of course one cannot be in front of the game 24/7. This is a game of war and I agree that anyone can be under attack even if not logged in.

If one is not ready to accept that fact well all I can say is that maybe it's not the appropriate game for that person.

And there is no point in using personal email to send insults or personal attacks towards a member, again if one cannot use diplomacy towards another fellow member, then one should not get involve in the game, some people are just sore because a game doesn't work to their advantage and get very upset over it.

May I remind all here that this game is for the entertainment of the CR members.It would be a sad fact if because of certain members that are simply not mature or able to use common sense and diplomacy on line that this project would be off limit to all.

Derogatory emails will not be tolerated from anyone. As this is a violation of Celtic Radio's Terms of Service.

As for the attack timing, it is permissible for an attack to occur at any time, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There have been some contentious discussions about the game attack and defending. This is normal. What is not normal is the incivility that some have shown towards others.

This incivility does nothing to encourage more players to join in the game, just the opposite. Please people, enjoy the game and all that goes with it but keep it civil. Think "chivalry."

You will of course send your gentleman's gentleman to speak with my gentleman's gentleman to arrange a suitable location for the base and bellicose activities that you propose. Well, Shananiganz.. I don't really see the question mentioned in the thread title- but I can guess at it.

I don't think that's appropriate. You seem to agree. You should inform the sender of this (if you haven't already). If they continue, forward them to CelticRadio.

Attacks can happen any time. That is part of the game. In fact, I need to let them know that this is a game!

It is a game, right? I have pondered and reflected over the past week if people have been so impressed with Medieval Kingdom that they have actually been sucked into an alternate reality where they believe that the events and actions of other kingdoms could really effect the world they live in...........

If there are any emails or messages sent in the game that you feel personally threatened or insulted - and it is not part of the game antics, then please let me know. We have to get our hands better around monitoring the game, but we can look back in the database and see who sent what at what time.

thank you i just wanted clarification on this matter as I thought that it was understandable that attacks could happen at anytime just because of different time zones in some cases for everyone and people's availability to get online. I just wanted the person who had sent the emails to possibly see this forum but I think I got the message across earlier as he was attacked 3 times by me today.

In the future anytime i get an email as such I will forward it to you CR thanks
