16/02/08 Porridge Flinging: porridge was developed by Scots to throw at the opposing English Forces. The glutinous material would cover the English from head to toe and harden quickly, rendering them immoble. Porridge was the first weapon of Mess Destruction. Bagpipe Wrestling: Now virtualy unknown, Bagpipe wrestling was once a hugely popular sport at Highland Games. Owners would keep stables of trained fighting bagpipes and pit them against champions from around Scotland. The bagpipe is a ferocious fighter and the wail of a defeated bagpipe is terrible to hear. The Whiskey Well: All the water used to produce every bottle of whiskey comes from a single source- a well on a remote Hebridean Island. The location of the well is top secret and the well itself is guarded night and day by generations of Highlanders to keep it safe from teetotalers or worse the English. Camac. |
