Happy Easter Everyone!!

We're having baked ham glazed with brown sugar and honey, homemade baked beans that've been cooking all day (hubby's favorite-he's the only one who likes them!), string beans, candied sweet potatoes, homemade orange bread, deviled eggs, and some mashed potatoes for our girls. Lots of goodies for dessert, with chocolate of course! The Easter Bunny was good to us laugh.gif !

We already had our big meal for the day. After church, my dad made his special French toast tongue.gif . We'll probably go out for dinner.

This morning, my three-year-old nephew woke me up at 10 to 7 by crawling up onto my bed and poking me in the cheek. He asked me if I was going to get up. I told him no, then told him to go back to bed, rolled over and went back to sleep.

We had Easter brunch today with family and friends.
We had baked ham glaced with honey, different sorts of bread and rolls, various salads, Easter eggs, sweet Easter bread, a cheese plate, grapes and oranges, apple pies and cans of coffee, tea and orange juice.
I was worried about the ham unsure.gif but it really turned out delicious! king.gif
It's half past ten pm now...our last guests left an hour ago. So you can imagine we had a great day! smile.gif

I just got back from my brother-in-law's house. We had glazed ham, potato casserole, corn and dinner rolls. Oh, and cherry pie for dessert. The only thing that would have made it better is if the Red Wings had won. Curses!

Uh, a Fantastic Frank, which is a sandwhich made with a 4-inch diameter piece of foccaccia, sliced in half, with provolone cheese, pesto mayonaisse, roasted red peppers, chicken breast, and some sort of lettuce stuff (mescelun? Mesculun? Dark, kinda like spinnach, but with red), all kinda grilled.

That was tasty, as were the mozarella sticks and the blueberry yogurt. Yay campus food.
