Hàlo mo chàirdean!
'S mise Adrian, agus tha mi a' fuireach ann an Tulsa, OK. 'S e dochas agam, gu bheil a h-uile duine bèo is gu math!

As you can see I'm a student of Gàidhlig here in Tulsa, and it's good to find a home on the web...finally!

Welcome, FamhairCloiche!
You have found a great site for Celtic music and good people.
Look around and you will find at least a few threads relating to the study of Gaelic.
Enjoy!

"Hello my friends!
I'm Adrian, and I live in Tulsa, OK. It's my hope that everyone is alive and well!"

Famhair cloiche means "Giant of stone"...or stone giant, since I design building structures and I like concrete the best.

As far as handsome, only if you like prematurely bald! And yes, the avatar is a self-portrait in graphite.

"non nobis domine, non nobis sed nomini tua da gloriam."

My favorite version of that song is from the end credits of Kenneth Branagh's Henry V (1989). Factoid...when you watch it, the guy who starts singing the song is the composer of the score for the movie.

...sorry, my brain has to go down rabbit holes every now and again.

i've never heard it sung...these are the words from a templar knight signet smile.gif
