Hi,
The values. in my market, in the middle 3 columns seem to change with a will of their own.
Can the webmaster look at page usage?
Do other players wants and sells appear on the same page?
Is it possible to select who you trade with?
If the Market is kept, a useful Help page is needed. Recent values of trades should remain, so that sensible prices can be asked for. Say last 6 transactions per commodity, with characters name and 'real' date

Hi, In making the MK Main Page more user friendly to us beginners, how about "hanging a banner" beneath the central MK title called [FONT=Geneva]Estate Office". [FONT=Arial] (There's more than enough room in the central column.) Do we really need the within country Discussion link and it's page? Surely the Forum is the best place for ALL public communications. Country wide comms could be then run from specific country daughter boards. Access depending on player attributes. Technology, in the left column, might be better labelled Future Technology, as you don't have it yet. Likewise, Kingdom might better be called Current Kingdom. Whilst I'm on my soapbox Army Movements could be Army Actions. And Workers could be Worker Actions. I don't know if it would be possible but would a Summary Page help keep players' interest. Generally it might show, for each country, but all on the same page, average activities: %farming, %mining, %forestry, %war. And whether any spying was occurring - but not who by of course. This could allow for a new character - Counter Spy. More expensive to create than other basic characters, this character always starts at Level 0. Only going up a level if he/she (could have a name) when a foreign spy has been found. Only one attempt at counter spying allowed per month. Espionage spies could also be so treated. This levelling could thus allow a new theme to develop where a smaller Kingdom could, with talented spies, take on a very large Kingdom. Those playing for several years are currently totally immune to attack from others but themselves. Particularly relevant with low player numbers. Hannes |

Suggestions for a map of kingdoms:
rivers random flooding, affects crop production plus army manoeuvres
woodlands, type, affects worker's lives (keeping warm in winter and cooking) and construction rates
arable land, quality affects cropping levels (bog/good soil/dessert) & (post flooding giving silt deposits)
mountains which affect gold mining (land slides - destroy mines or expose veins)
(All done with a random number generator) and really simple graphics.
Poor villages or aggressive clans men could migrate to other (fixed) sites with various penalties depending on weather, terrain and passing of other villages.
What doest thou think?
